1. General Conditions
These general conditions for rentals are brought to the attention of each potential customer in order to facilitate the reservation process. In consequence, a reservation implies full and unqualified acceptance of these general conditions for rentals. No special conditions or other general conditions asserted by the customer can prevail over the present conditions, save with the prior consent of Genprop SA.
2. Reservations and confirmation
The customer is responsible for completing the registration form fully and accurately (name and address, email address). In the event of any error in the particulars provided, Genprop cannot be held liable if it proves impossible to rent to the potential client. Each request for a rental is subject to acceptance by Genprop. Genprop reserves the right to refuse any request for a rental if accommodation is not available, if the information provided by the customer is incomplete or for any other legitimate reason. Genprop undertakes to inform you within two (2) business days following your request for a rental if the company has any problem in complying withyour request.
The prices indicated on the order form are to be understood as inclusive of taxes.
VAT is applied in accordance with the federal directives in force at the time of the reservation. Genprop is free to revise its general tariffs. An extra charge is made for the booking fee.
Payment is made in cash or online by bank credit card : Mastercard, Visacard, Postcard. For this reason, there are no discount conditions and no penalties for delays in payment. The currency used for the transaction is the Swiss franc (CHF). The validation of the credit card payment is immediate. It will be noted that no reservation will be made without the validation of payment. When your payment operations are processed on the Genprop website, our service-provider applies the highest security standards in the market.
5. Cancellation costs and reimbursement
The tenant may terminate the reservation at any time, subject to the following conditions:
- Up to 30 days before the date of arrival: management fee of CHF 200
- From 29 to 10 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the rent
- From 9 to 0 days before the date of arrival: 80% of the rent
6. Complaints – Disputes
Complaints will always be treated attentively. Any complaint must be made within a period of 48 hours following the beginning of the rental/occupation of the apartment to: Genprop SA, 38 rue de l’Athénée, 1206 Geneva. No complaint will be taken into consideration after this time limit has elapsed.
7. Data protection
Personal data obtained from the customer by Genprop will be held and processed in accordance with the legislation applicable in Switzerland.
8. Applicable law . Partial nullity / Modifications / Place of jurisdiction
These general conditions of sale are governed exclusively by Swiss law. If any part of these general conditions should be declared null and void by a court, this shall not in any way affect the validity of the remainder of the general conditions for rentals. Genprop reserves the right to modify these general rental conditions. The parties acknowledge the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva for any dispute or difference concerning them.
The designated customer and/or tenant are not allowed to sublet the property at any time.
